Abstract :
This paper presents the theoretical performance of an asynchronous wideband DS-CDMA system with as application the future 60 GHz indoor networks. We make an analytical study, separating the different noise sources of the communication link. We derive the error probability using the density probability function of the channel parameters in the case of an adapted filter and of a rake receiver. To validate the analytical study, we simulate the complete communication link using Monte Carlo simulation which takes into account the asynchronous character of the transmission. The results show a good agreement between the theoretical and simulation approaches and the feasibility of DS-CDMA for a 60 GHz high rate link
