Abstract
The farmers´ income level is a comprehensive reflection of the national economic development level. Since the reform and opening up, farmers´ income level in China has changed substantially. In this paper, we introduce some new changes of farmers´ income in China in recent years. Then we establish an econometric model to analyze four main factors that influence farmers´ income in China and their influencing degree. The conclusion is: to increase rural public expenditure and the population proportion above junior high school level, and to reduce the proportion of agricultural output and the total agricultural population help increasing farmers´ income in China. The effect of farmers´ education level is most obvious, the proportion of rural public expenditure causes the smallest effect.
