Abstract :
A genetic-algorithm-based approach to the synthesis of matching networks (MNs) is investigated using different types of passive element models such as simple Q-models, equivalent circuit (EC) models, and S-parameter-based models. The approach is implemented in the automatic synthesis software INDESYS-MATCH.
