Abstract :
The papermaking process has principle of large lag time, multivariable, strong coupling properties. In order to solve these three problems at the same time, select the Smith predictor combine with model reference adaptive control algorithm. Through establish the structure of control system, design the control algorithm and the adaptive modulation principle to achieve the gain and lag time self-tuning on-line, the MRA-Smith predictive controller reduced the system´s transition period, improved control system performance. The simulation results indicated that the MRA-Smith predictor has strong stability, immunity, adaptivity, the decoupling and robustness to the multivariable coupled system.
