Abstract
In this paper, we propose a new technique that employs an array space/beam space transformer combing with adaptive beamforming based on least mean square (LMS) or regularized least square (RLS) algorithm for an orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) system with space-time coding (STC). The scheme that inserts beam-space preprocessing before adaptive beamformer can more effectively mitigate co-channel interference (CCI) and enhances the system performance. The simulation results demonstrate that the proposed method not only has the good ability of suppressing CCI, but also significantly improves the bit-error rate (BER) performance for STC-OFDM system.
