Abstract :
Simulation of millimeter - and submillimeter oscillators has been performed. A mathematical orbotron-klystron (orboklystron) model is worked out, in which the space charge of a sheet electron beam and sagging of fields in gaps are considered. It is shown that the calculated electron efficiency of orboklystrons operating at 50 and 300 GHz may come up to 30 and 4% respectively.
