            Abstract :
The vision “information at any time, at any place, in any form” represents a key driver for the development of future (telecommunications) information networking architectures. In order to realize this vision, the emerging concept of personal communications support (PCS) is becoming increasingly important, since if enables users to configure their communications environment in accord with their individual needs, thereby providing them with controlled access to telecommunication services, regardless of their current location, terminal and network capabilities. This paper introduces the new TINA-C auxiliary project “Personal Communications Support in TINA”, which aims to enhance the TINA service architecture with respect to generic PCS capabilities
