Abstract :
The accuracy of ranging is dominated by the precision of time-of-flight in the pulsed laser ranging. And the higher accuracy cannot be reached by boosting the clock frequency, because of electron bottleneck. A method is proposed in this paper, which can improve the precision by means of counting phase-shifted clocks. Its principle and structures are described primarily.
