  • Abstract
    Based on electrical Map and measured elevation data, noise mapping of South Second Ring in Xi´an City is attained based on GIS and CadnaA software. In the Noise mapping, sound pressure level isn´t consistent with measured data. The main reason is that foreign noise prediction model does not apply in China. According to some kinds of feature, such as concentrated viaduct and intersection, host and auxiliary lane in parallel, dense highrise and so on, one new road noise prediction model is built. Noise distribution of special section on South Second Ring is calculated with the new road noise prediction model. The result shows that model can more accurately predict noise distribution of South Second Ring in Xi´an city than foreign model. The conclusions have many meanings to noise control for city road in China.
