  • Abstract
The delay-locked loop (DLL) is a powerful technique to keep the alignment between PN sequences. These sequences are widely used in code division multiple access (CDMA) communication systems. A second-order DLL is selected as the basic scheme for a simulator due to its ability to correct a phase and frequency steps. An event-driven simulator is used for testing the performance of the DLL. In this way, no linear assumptions are made. Simulations are performed in a multipath environment by means of an N-paths channel model. The results of the simulations of the performance of the DLL in a mobile environment are presented, and some conclusions are added as consequences of the simulation results
