Abstract :
Architectures for carrier synchronization in frequency nonselective Rayleigh fading channels are presented. A two-stage algorithm is shown to provide roughly the same performance as a parallel-to-serial interface (PSI) with fully modulated signals. A hybrid PSI architecture is proposed which provides improvements in both performance and bandwidth efficiency
