Abstract :
The approximate solution of the diffraction of a spherical wave radiated by an elementary electric dipole on a wedge with perfectly conducting faces is presented. The comparison of calculated scattering patterns of the dipole field over the wedge surface, calculated from the asymptotic formulas with measured on the model of the wedge is made. The diagrams of the scattering in the geometrical optics.
