Abstract :
Summary form only given. We present the experimental investigations of spatial-spectral properties of the light filament produced by focused picosecond 527-nm laser pulse. The laser system is capable of delivering 0.9-ps frequency-doubled pulses. The focusing setup consists of two curved mirrors that allow achieving different effective focal lengths by varying the distance between them. Spatial-spectral measurements were carried out using diffraction grating and CCD camera by taking the front reflection from a wedged fused silica plate inserted at grazing incidence.
