Abstract :
How to effectively organize and manage vast amounts of video data on the Internet, and easily find the information people want is now one of the hotspots. Content-based video retrieval is an important means of managing video database, the efficiency of video retrieval has a direct impact on the efficiency of database management. For the video is unstructured data, the traditional video retrieval cannot be as quick and efficient as text retrieval. In this article, firstly make the unstructured video data into curve, mark the feature string of it, and then do the approximate string matching, to achieve fast and efficient retrieval of video. Experiments show that the method has a good effect.
