Abstract :
It has been shown that the position of a minimum of the frequency dependence of the reflection coefficient for a half-disk resonator does not always coincide with the natural frequency. This result has been obtained by means of numerical simulation for the resonator on the metal mirror with various sizes of the aperture of a coupling element for the mode of whispering gallery. More correct results have been obtained by means of fractional-rational approximation.
