Abstract
Ontology mapping is an important way for realizing ontology interoperability. Many prototype systems have been developed for automatically finding alignments between elements (such as concept, property, and instance) in different ontologies. Mapping selection is one of the key points in the ontology mapping systems. Ontology mapping systems employ various methods for mapping selection, such as greedy algorithm, optimal algorithm. But, these methods usually seldom consider the semantic and structural information in ontologies during mapping selection. In this paper, we propose an approach for mapping selection based on semantic and structural information in ontologies. Experimental results illustrate the validity of our method.
