Abstract :
The extent of density unevenness of the printing quality influences the visibility of printed matter. Both the subjective allowance density of a basic pattern and the unevenness of subjective density defined in terms of the printed area of Chinese characters in a complicated pattern were studied by psychophysical experiments. In accordance with the results of the present study, “Evaluation Method of Printing Quality by Visual Sensation” was proposed to solve the problems of printed material unevenness
