Abstract :
Summary form only given. Electromagnetically induced gratings (EIG) can be observed in a system presenting electromagnetically induced transparency (EIT). In this work we study diffraction on EIG in the degenerate open two-level transition of cold cesium atoms, using a nearly degenerate phase-conjugation four-wave mixing configuration.
