  • Abstract
For the water volume fraction measurement of oil-in-water two phase flow, the mathematical model of sensitivity field in the ring-shape four-electrode conductance probe was established firstly. Furthermore, when the conductance probe was filled with oil-water two-phase mixture, the electrical potential distribution was derived by the method of separation of variables. Finally, the measurement model for measuring oil-in-water annular flow was proposed, which is coincided with Begovich&Watson´s equation. It lays a foundation for the future research on the response characteristics of the conductance probe.
