Abstract :
Summary form only given. The coherent LO-plasma coupling in GaAs has been observed and controlled using two-pump time-resolved SHG technique. The coupling efficiency can be coherently enhanced by adjusting the relative phase between the injected plasma and LO phonon. This experiment demonstrates the possible coherent control of phonon-plasma interactions in semiconductors and their nanostructures.
