Abstract
An improved RF bandpass prefilter is proposed which improves the in-band flatness with neat circuit architecture. The result of simulation by Spectre4.4.5 with 0.18 μm CMOS technology library indicates that the ripple from 2.42 GHz to 2.46 GHz is less than ± 0.2 dB when central frequency is tuned at 2.44 GHz with 3 dB bandwidth 80 MHz. The prefilter has been designed to have 27.8 dB voltage gain, -33 dBm IIP3, and 10.5 dB NF with power dissipation 28 mW
