Abstract :
A detailed experimental study of the transition from single-frequency to broadband generation in the laboratory model of low-voltage vircator have carried out. It was established that the transition to the chaotic oscillation transition occurs through a cascade of period doubling bifurcations. Thus, the studied laboratory model of low-voltage vircator is a generator of controllable chaotic oscillations.
