Abstract :
This paper points out the GIS common failing of using topographic maps with little information and suggests RGIS (remote sensing GIS) in which RS information is the main content. It catches the general view of the whole city by RS technology in the point resource system (PRS) and takes high resolution RS images as the basic GIS platform directly. It builds up a large-scale aerial RS digital information field and city on Infor-Net using PRS methods in RGIS
