Abstract :
A method of motion detection and tracking based on multi-camera surveillance system is presented in this paper. First detecting moving blocks by dynamic template, and then check the moving blocks, get the elements of computing movement blocks such as spatial characteristics and histogram then detecting and tracking the moving objects according to characteristics of elements. Experiments show that the method has a good robustness when tracking on multi-camera motion under different lighting conditions and short-occlusion environment.
