  • Abstract
    The structure of the population in the world has transformed from aging society to aged society, the problems of taking medicine for chronic disease has be more and more, and the pace of nowadays life is also faster. These above trends are easy to cause that users miss the reminding time to take medicine. Thus, we can understand the importance of taking medicine. Therefore we employ optical character recognition (OCR), psychology, and decision tree to make an intelligent taking medicine reminding system. The goal of our system is to improve the wrong time to take medicine and the wrong dose of taking medicine and it can let patients recover earlier. And we use questionnaires to understand the users´ requirement and expectations of users when users use our system. From the feedback information of questionnaire, the satisfaction of our system is about 80% and there is up to 90% willing to use this system if people have smartphone. Those above evidences prove that our system can effectively increase the correction rate of taking medicine and decrease the wrong interval and dose of taking medicine.
