Abstract :
Region of interest (ROI) image coding is an important method of image compress coding, in the traditional ROI image coding method, the ROI is confirmed by image transmitter, but it is difficult to choose the ROI. This work provides an Interactive-ROI image coding method base on the improved NLS, who´s ROI was confirmed by the image receiver. Experiments show that this method can make a sufficient ROI image in low bit rate image transmission.
