The Research on Cointegration Relation between Yangtze River Waterway Construction Investment and Basin Economic Development

This paper applies cointegration theory to research the quantitative relation between Yangtze River waterway construction investment and basin economy development. The result of analysis shows that there is cointegration relation between them. Moreover, this relation is unique. In addition, waterway construction investment has strong positive effect on basin economy development. Finally, this paper suggests related sections increase waterway investment satisfying the demand of basin economic development.
