Abstract :
This paper is aimed to describe the matrix converter performance under unbalanced input-voltage condition. A detailed explanation is given showing the control strategy; this allows: (i) balanced output-voltages and currents, despite the unbalanced input-voltages; (ii) output-voltages´ amplitudes and frequency control. Simulation results are exhibited showing the appropriateness of the proposition.
