Abstract :
The installation for high-temperature heating of conductors with low conductivity is developed. The cavity cabinet of the installation is a coaxial resonator with TM010 oscillations. The calculation, optimization, tuning and investigation of the cavity were conducted. An experimental investigation of microwave plasma torch was performed at microwave power 600 watts. Prospects of high-temperature microwave heating are shown.
