Abstract

Based on the evolution of GIS and MIS, previous real-estate management software products cannot meet the requirements of MIS completely, so it has faced stem challenges in various aspects. Real estate management system based on GMN (GIS + MES + Network) is a new technology for resolving these problems. It provides a proper method to solve modern management problems. The concept of GMN and the systematic applications of GIS in real estate are introduced in this paper. The trend and techniques of GIS in Internet times are analyzed; the methods of GIS aided management on the basis of MIS are discussed in detail. On the basis of these, a new GIS architecture based on ASP, as well as its impacts on GIS, is proposed in the paper. Finally, some particular problems emerged during the exploitation of the real-estate management systems are analyzed briefly
