Marianna Ivanovna Poygina: To 50th anniversary of scientific and creative work

With honorable mediation of Marianna Ivanovna the short range coherent pulse radar of millimeter range for identification of mobile pin-point targets, oriented for defensive aids unit of station-keeping and moving objects, was engineered. Due to her initiative and creative participation of SRI «Orion» State program for Creation of Solid Element Base in Millimeter Range up to 300 GHz was successfully solved: on injection and transit effects in silicon and gallium arsenide; generators and amplifiers of pulse continuous operation on the basis of IMPATT diodes and Gunn-effect diodes, high-speed units for control of pulse height and signal phase, frequency converters, etc.
