Study on Informatization Development of Foreign Trade Enterprises in Shanghai

In this paper, different levels and types of foreign trade enterprises in Shanghai are seleceted as samples to conduct a survey about information technology applications in order to analyze their status quo of informatization construction. Based on the results of the survey, this paper shows existing problems and constraint factors during the informatization construction process of foreign trade enterprises in Shanghai, such as infrastructure, data integration, information management and professionals. Furthermore, some corresponding development strategies are proposed which are expected to prompt the construction of International Trade Center in Shanghai.
