Abstract :
The three cutting elements and its optimization are very important factors to the machining quality in NC machining. So we should find the optimized combination of the three cutting elements satisfied the requirements of part quality before machining. This paper uses orthogonal test method to analyze the effect of cutting elements to surface roughness, it´s a single index 3 factors and 3 levels of test, using variance method to analyze. Through the experiment, we get the influence law of cutting elements to surface roughness, and obtain the optimized combination of the three cutting elements.
