Abstract :
Properties of Bleustein-Gulyaev waves (BGW) in Li2B4O7 crystal were determined from the measured parameters of a delay line with double electrode interdigital parameters, and from the measured center frequency and insertion loss at the third harmonic, the BGW free surface velocity and the square of the electromechanical coupling coefficient were determined as 4921 m/s and 0.0027, respectively. The BGW in Li2B4 O7 crystal are very promising for high frequency filters and chemical sensor applications
