Application of Web2.0 in Knowledge Management: A Survey from Enterprises

The purpose of this investigation was to understand the application status of Web2.0 technology in Enterprise Knowledge Management. The investigation inquired nearly one hundred employees with questionnaires randomly, and then analyzed the result. It showed that not a few enterprises had already been aware of the role that Web2.0 technologies played in Knowledge Management. However, how to use Web2.0 into Knowledge Management well was remaining doubts. There were also some Enterprises which had not fully realized the significant role that Knowledge Management played in the development of the Enterprises themselves, leading to be unsensitive to new technologies. Therefore, this article believed that we should be actively construct Knowledge Management application model within Web2.0 technology to promote the application of Web2.0 technology in Enterprise Knowledge Management, to improve the efficiency of Knowledge Management, and to accelerate their own development.
