Abstract :
The research on test equating is very important for computerized adaptive testing, test equity, item banking, and teaching quality assessing. Three new test equating methods are proposed in this paper, which are inspired by the goodness-of-fit test statistics. Monte-Carlo study shows that there are differences among three equating methods. The difference has close relationship with estimation random error and the domain of equating coefficient A. Besides, the three equating methods have better performance under some conditions than other popular method at present.
