Abstract
Moving manpower recruitment centre (MRC) from an ISO based quality management system to the IQM system required the development of an implementation plan that took into consideration the gaps that need to be addressed in the migratory path. This includes assimilation of integrated quality management (IQM) system into the organisation´s quality management practices and timeframe in attaining the desired maturity levels. In the implementation phase, Commanding Officer of Registration and Recruitment was appointed as champion of the effort and ensured that MRC was tracking against the plan. QSM was also responsible for moving the plan forward, wherein attention was on the training needs in moving the organisation toward IQM.
