Abstract :
Based on the graphic information feature and its variation characteristics of the airborne Electronic Attitude and Direction Indicator (EADI), the hardware structure of FPGA(SOPC)+DSP+FPGA is designed. The system is divided into flight data acquisition and graphics processing and display function module. Firstly, the real-time acquisition of flight parameters is achieved by SOPC and then transferred to the graphics processing and display function module in a uniform data format. The graphics processing procedure primary composes of outline generating and area filling. Edge marking and area filling are realized by DSP and FPGA respectively. This graphics processing method lightens computing burden of DSP used in the traditional method, promoting the real-time performance and reliability of the system to a large extent.
