On the Construction of Digital Community Colleges with Chinese Characteristics Based on the Distance Education System

Community colleges and distance education play a decisive role not only in the national education but also in the long life educational system. To realize the lifelong learning and construct the learning society, we must step on the only way of making full use of the current distance education system. This paper illustrates the experience of several successful community colleges and distance education in some countries, analyzes the current development of community colleges and distance education in China, and brings forward an effective mode to construct digital community colleges with Chinese characteristics by utilizing the distance education system.
