Abstract
In this paper, a novel method of hand tracking is introduced, which can get the depth of hand by fusing the information sampled by devices of computer vision and bend-sensors fixed on the elbow. Based on this, a new coded representation is proposed to represent the movement trajectory, which can be used in the Chinese Sign Language recognition. Experiment results have shown that the method proposed in this paper is quite effective
