Abstract :
The ultrasonic ranging system is widely used in automobiles, mobile robots, industrial control systems, etc. Ultrasonic transducer is the core component of car reversing aid system (CRAS). At present, Lead Zirconate Titanate (PZT) is generally used as piezoelectric material for ultrasonic transducer. In this paper, a method of successful use of Barium Titanate (BT) material in transducer application is proposed. Actual measurement shows the measurement error is within 2 cm, and the measurement range is larger than 170 cm.
