Abstract :
In this paper, the routing protocols for wireless mobile ad-hoc networks has been compared and studied for different scenarios in a vehicular environment The protocols are: Ad-hoc On demand Distance Vector (AODV) and Dynamic Source Routing (DSR). Simulations are made on two scenarios where cars are moving in the roads and transmitting each other with and without obstacles. Results are obtained and presented as a function of metrics such as packet delivery ratio, collision, packet drop. The notable point of our analysis is that, it is based on Vehicles in the ad hoc network.
