Research on Multimedia Resource Management System Based on Web Services

In allusion to construct multimedia resource management system based on the traditional techniques indicates some rather prominent problems, this paper analyzes the development of the current multimedia resource management system and brings forward Web services which are the kernel to the solutions of the common multimedia resource management system, and introduces several key techniques of SOA and Web services as well as the relationships between them. SOA and Web services can ensure a compatible information exchange and integration framework for the multimedia resource management system and improve the current multimedia management model to achieve the goals of management optimization. Finally, the multimedia resource management system framework based on SOA and Web services is designed and implemented, and illustrates characteristics of system framework.
