Abstract
Group signature has the nice properties of both privacy protection and traceability. Though for practical use, an efficient way for group membership revocation is needed. Different ways for member revocation in group signature are analyzed and compared. Then a new model for member revocation is presented. The model (which we call it "MOMR" model, i.e. "Minimum Overhead Member Revocation") has minimum overhead compared with existing member revocation methods. The realization issue of the model is also discussed.
