Abstract :
The main purpose of Carrier-grade NAT (CGN) [1] logs is to tracing. Traditional Network Address Translation (NAT) produces a large amount of logs everyday, which wastes a lot of storage space and also makes it difficult to query. In response to these issues, we propose a NAT translation mechanism based on the port range mapping. And we make simulation case study in the campus network to prove that this program can greatly reduce the amount of logs, thus improving the efficiency of tracing.
