Abstract :
This paper brings into depiction two novel converter models, a switched-inductor Ćuk-derived hybrid converter (SICDHC) and a switched-capacitor Ćuk-derived hybrid converter (SCCDHC) that can be used for meeting the demands of both AC as well as DC loads fed from a solitary DC input. The proposed hybrid converter can achieve an improved output voltage gain factor as compared to the simple Ćuk-derived hybrid converter (CDHC). The steady state analysis of the proposed converters has been studied in this paper. Moreover, a suitable control methodology for the operation of the hybrid converters has been discussed. The validity of the proposed hybrid converter structures has been validated through simulation.
