Abstract
The methods such as motion capture and data glove have been used for gesture recognition. However, there are inevitably some physical and/or environmental restrictions on these methods. We propose the method that can make the 3-dimensional computer graphics animation from real gesture by transforming feature vector of posture on thermal image into 3-dimensional model. This work shows that our method might be able to release gesture recognition from physical and/or environmental restrictions.
