Abstract :
This paper describes the required quality of a wireless system for transmitting an image using ATM first. Relationships between the CLR and the BER are newly measured using a VOD system of the motion-JPEG in ATM. Next, the radio zone coverage is evaluated and the required antenna directivity is clarified for a high speed ATM wireless system taking into consideration the multipath interference with a long delay. Finally, the occurrence of shadowing due to human bodies is estimated theoretically
