Abstract
Process definition plays an important role in workflow management system as well as many other CSCW applications. Unfortunately, in most cases process definition is fulfilled by designer´s intuition, which can neither guarantee the correctness of process design nor decrease the difficulty of integration greatly. By depicting the original cooperative task formally, we propose a 3-step process definition approach. In this way we can model the cooperative tasks uniformly. Moreover, a uniform analyzing tool can also be created.
