Abstract :
The notion of the multi-agent city is definited in this paper. An example is given to improve its existence and an analysis is carried out to explain the certainty of its appearance. Based on the conception of the multi-agent city, the problem of the existing planning methods is pointed out, the necessary and the possibility of taking a new method of city planning is discussed. In the end the concept of self-building and cooperation-building is put forward and its impact to the future planning and design is predicted.
